Penallta play Brecon at home today in the second round of the National Plate competition.
Kick off is at 2pm on the 3G, Centre of Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach.
Penallta travelled to Brecon last week and hammered the Beacons club 12-88 in a league game, with Grant Pearce scoring a hat trick for the Pitmen,
Ross Morgan's boys would like a repeat performance today to put them into the next round of a competition that's been so good to Penallta over the years. The 2012 champions and 2016 runners' up have a strong squad again this season and will be hoping for another run.
Penallta beat Caerleon in the first round and the bext obstacle is Brecon in Round 2, a Jekyll and Hyde side who have enjoyed a mixture of very good and very poor results this season.
Come along and support the boys - it should be an entertaining game.
