Alzheimer's Charity Night - Saturday 4th February

Penallta RFC are proud to host another Alzheimer's Charity Night on Saturday 4th February.

Alzheimer's and other dementia-related illnesses are causes close to the hearts of many within the rugby club, and Penallta is happy to provide its help and support.

Last season's event was so well supported and raised so much money for Alzheimer's Research that the girls behind the event have decided to run it again. Cara and Sara, whose mother June suffers with a rare form of Alzheimer's, are the ringleaders. Alongside them are the ever-supportive girls who do sterling work in organising the donation of raffle prizes, and whenever possible, half-killing themselves by taking part in ridiculously difficult running exercises, like Invincibl.

There will be fabulous entertainment on the night provided by local band The Super Serps. If you've seen the Serps before you'll have no difficulty in remembering them. They are truly an unforgettable act.

Tickets will be on sale next week and the girls and all at Penallta RFC encourage you to show your support for a wonderful cause.

Together we can win the fight against Alzheimer's and help future families avoid suffering. With the selfless efforts of the public, a cure is on its way in our lifetimes.
