History of Penallta Colliery.

On Thursday the Welsh Historical Society are holding a talk on the history of Penallta Colliery, through the medium of Welsh.

The talk will with focus on the history of the colliery, the people and community associated with it and the effect the colliery had on the local area.

Doors open at 7.30p.m and all are welcome.

The bar will be open for refreshments and Penallta Rugby Football Club extend a warm welcome to all with an interest in local history, particularly the colliery and characters associated with it.
